I saw an image of a flashlight. Its light illuminated the area in front of it, however the rest was still covered in darkness. The image then changed into the sun rising over the horizon, illuminating the entire sky. I feel that God is saying that we cannot limit the power of His light and glory. Just as the light of the sunrise is so much greater than the limited light of the flashlight, so God’s power and plans are so much greater than our human perception of it. I feel that He is calling us to more, however we limit ourselves by our own ideas of God’s power.
I felt God saying, “My child, I have so much in store for you. Do not look at the world or the circumstances around you, but keep your eyes fixed on Me. I can do abundantly more than you could ever think or imagine. All I desire is that you give yourself fully to Me.”
I was reminded of Ephesians 3:20-21 – “ Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Let us keep our eyes fixed on the all-powerful God, who is able to do more than we could ever imagine.
