I saw an image of an elephant trying to push over a tree, however it was unable to do so. I feel that God is saying that even when it seems as if the things of this world are able to overpower us, like the elephant is able to destroy the tree, God will strengthen us and we will be able to withstand the attacks and struggles by His power. When we are firmly rooted in Him, nothing can pluck us from His hands.
I felt God saying, “My child, do not fear the things of this world. I have given you a firm foundation. When your roots are firmly planted in me, there is nothing that can push you over or remove you from my embrace. Continue running deeper and deeper into Me, letting your roots sink deeper into My Word. For I will strengthen you and I will sustain you. No matter the struggles in life or the evil forces that try to pull you down, you are untouchable when you are in My hands. I will not let them destroy you. Focus on Me, continue pressing into My presence and let the things of this world melt away. For I am the Almighty God. I have won over the evil forces in the world. For greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. So do not fear, My child.”
I was reminded of 1 John 4:4 – “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
Let us focus on God, continually pursuing a deeper intimacy with Him, knowing that we do not have to fear the things of this world, for He has already overcome them.
