While praying, I saw an image of a hammock. I feel that God is calling us into a place of rest in His presence.
I heard God saying, ” Beloved, come into My presence and find rest here. I desire to give you My peace, so that you may rest in every circumstance knowing that I am your God. Come to Me and lay your burdens at My feet. Draw near to Me and sit at My feet. Unburden your heart to Me. I will take your burdens and I will bear them. I will give you an easy and light yoke to bear in exchange. Come to Me and I will give you rest. I will care for you. Do not allow your mind to be troubled by the things of the world but bring them to Me and lay them down at My feet. Rest in My presence knowing that I am the one who will sustain you. “
I was reminded of Matthew 11:28-30 – “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” and John 14:27(AMP) – “Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]”
Let us draw near to God, laying down our worries and burdens at His feet, receiving the peace that He has given us which surpasses all understanding.
