I saw an image of an eagle soaring across the sky. I feel that God is saying that we should rely fully on Him to lift us up into the high places as we pursue a deeper intimacy with Him. It is through resting in His presence and spending time with God that we grow in intimacy with Him, rather than through striving.
I heard God saying, “Beloved, draw near to Me. Stretch out your wings and glide upon the wind of My breath. I will lift you up and I will take you higher. I desire you to come to a place of rest and full trust in Me, for I will carry you. You do not need to strive to enter My presence, merely come and sit at My feet and I will lift you up to the high places. I will open My courts for you to enter. As you pursue Me, allow the wind of My Spirit to guide you as you glide across the skies. Do not be drawn back to earth, but continually pursue the higher places. Focus on Me and the things of this earth will grow dim in comparison. I desire you to continue to press on and to press upwards, allowing My wind to carry you higher and higher.”
I was reminded of Isaiah 40:31 – “But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.”
Let us continue to pursue a deeper intimacy with God, sitting at His feet and allowing His wind to bear us higher.
