I saw an image of a white calla lily and my attention was drawn to the cup-like shape that it forms. I feel that God is calling us to present ourselves before Him as empty cups, to be filled by His living water.
I heard God saying, “My child, present yourself to Me as an empty vessel. I desire to fill you up so that you may be abundantly filled to overflowing. Lay yourself before Me and allow Me to pour out My Spirit and My living water upon you. Allow Me to fill you up with the things of My kingdom and you will see how that will spread to people around you. For whoever drinks of My living water will never thirst again, and this living water will spread to those around you. So come into My presence and allow Me to pour My living water into you. Surrender yourself to Me and allow Me to remove anything that is blocking your vessel, so that it may be filled to the brim.”
I was reminded of John 7:38 – “ He who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Me], as the Scripture has said, ‘From his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living water.'”
Let us present ourselves before God, asking Him to empty us of anything that is hindering us from receiving the abundant living water that He desires to pour into us, and to allow Him to fill us to overflowing with His living water.
