I saw an image of a soup ladle. I feel that God is saying that He does not measure like the world does. In the world, everything is measured and precise, however God gives abundantly more than we can ever ask or imagine.
I heard God saying, “My child, do you not see that I do not measure according to the standards of this world. I measure with abundance. So come to Me and ask Me for the things of My kingdom and I will give them to you, with abundance and in overflow. I desire to give good gifts to those who ask, so draw into My presence and present yourself before Me and make your desires known to Me. For I will fulfil the needs and the desires that you have for the things of My kingdom. My measurements are not standardized and stingy, but they are abundant and overflowing, for out of the abundance of My heart, I pour forth these blessings upon you. So, draw near to Me, come sit at My feet and ask Me for the things that you desire.
I was reminded of Ephesians 3:20 – “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” and Matthew 7:11 – “If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”
Let us present ourselves before God, making our requests known to Him, for He will give us abundantly more according to His purposes and plans for our lives.
