I heard God saying, “Beloved, look around you at the magnificence of Creation. Do you see every detail that I have put in place with the design of each and every part of Creation. Behold the beauty with which I have crafted it. Do you not realise that I have crafted you with even more beauty and precision and detail? You are a masterpiece and an artwork which I have designed and formed. I designed you before the ages, and I knew every detail about you. I am a loving father who cares for every single detail about your life. I desire you to share them with Me. Do not think that because I already know, I do not want to hear about it from you, for I desire a relationship with you, where you discuss things with Me and where we can share moments together. For I desire intimacy with you and a close bond. So draw near to Me, come into My presence and sit at my feet, spending time with Me and allowing our relationship to grow stronger. I love you dearly.”
I was reminded of Ephesians 1:4-5 – “Just as [in His love] He chose us in Christ [actually selected us for Himself as His own] before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy [that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven] and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined and lovingly planned for us to be adopted to Himself as [His own] children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the kind intention and good pleasure of His will”.
Psalm 139:13-16 – “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
