I saw an image of a volcano. I feel that God is asking us whether we have become like dormant volcanoes or whether we are still filled with a zealous fire for Him.
I heard God saying, “Beloved, do not become lukewarm for Me, or lose your fiery zeal, but continue to pursue Me wholeheartedly. I desire My fire to burn within you, that you would pursue Me zealously. Continue to fan into flame the gifts that I have given you, and to seek more of Me. Do not grow content, but continue to pursue more of Me. I desire passionate followers who eagerly seek Me. So continue to pursue Me, continue to spend time in the secret place with Me and continue to fan into flame the passion and the fire within your heart for Me and My Kingdom. I desire you to experience more of Me and to enter into a deeper relationship with Me.”
I was reminded of Romans 12:11 – Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
Let us examine our hearts in God’s presence, allowing Him to reveal to us areas in our lives where we are not on fire for Him. Let us allow Him to reignite that passion and zeal within us, that we may serve Him fervently.
