I saw an image of a pigeon eating bread crumbs which a person was holding in their hand. I feel that God is saying that He is also offering us spiritual food, which He desires us to partake of.
I heard God saying, “Beloved, come and partake of the food that I offer. Approach Me with boldness, seeking the more that I have in store for you. I desire to give good gifts to My children and to lead them into the fullness and the abundance of My plans for their lives. Yet, I desire you to come into My presence and to seek Me for that. For in that place of fellowship, I will give you manna from heaven of which you can partake, and I will teach you in the way that you should go. I will start giving you more and more solid food, so that you can come into maturity in Me. So, continue to pursue Me and to spend time in My presence, for in that time, I will bring growth into your life so that you can become spiritually mature in Me and you will experience a deeper intimacy with Me. Continue to seek Me and to come with an expectant heart, desiring the more that I have in store for you.”
Psalm 130:5 – I wait [patiently] for the Lord, my soul [expectantly] waits, and in His word do I hope.
1 Corinthians 3:2 – I fed you with milk, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Even now you are still not ready.
Let us approach God with expectant hearts, desiring the solid food and maturity that He offers.
