As I was praying, I saw an image of a pole, standing straight. I feel that God is calling us to stand firm in this time, rooted in Him.
I heard God saying, “My people, know that I am strengthening you in this time to stand firmly upon the words that I have spoken. For in this time there will be winds and waves and storms that come against you, trying to lead you away from Me. But I am calling you to stand strong, to stand firmly upon My foundation. For in this time, I will give you the strength to be able to endure and I will be with you in that. For I require you to be so firmly planted in Me and in My word, that nothing can blow you away from Me. In this time, I desire you to further and further deepen your roots in My word and in spending time with Me in My presence. For I Myself have planted you and I will let your roots grow down deep into the soil of My firm foundation. For I desire you to stand as firm pillars, revealing Me to the people in this world, and not being shaken or stirred by anything else that comes against you. I will reward you for standing firm in the face of the opposition and I will pour out even more of Myself on you as you do so, and I will reveal even more of Myself to you. For I Myself will be with you.”
Ephesians 4:14 – Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.
Ephesians 6:13 – Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Let us spend time with God, being built up in His presence and in His word, so that we may stand firm, unwavering in our faith.
