A Changed Perspective

I saw an image of a person in a kayak, being viewed from above. I feel that God is emphasizing the difference that perspective makes. Just as obstacles seem larger and more difficult when viewed from eyelevel rather than higher up, so a heavenly perspective changes the way in which we perceive the world around us.

I heard God saying, “Beloved, look towards Me for wisdom and revelation, for I am the Almighty, the creator of the heavens and the earth. Do not rely on your own understanding or your own perception, but come to Me and allow Me to change your perspective. Allow Me to adjust your perspective so that it will be more like Mine, for I desire you to view life not from a worldly perspective, but from a heavenly perspective. For I have not created you to be part of the world, rather I have created you to be seated in the heavenly places while you pass through this world. So, come to Me, desiring to gain a heavenly perspective, for as you do, you will realise how small the challenges become once they are viewed from My perspective. For nothing is impossible with Me. So, do not allow the fears of the world to overwhelm you, but come to Me and allow Me to elevate your perspective, so that you may see the mighty power that I hold.”

I was reminded of Ephesians 2:6 – And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus

2 Corinthians 4:18 – So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.

Let us desire to have a heavenly perspective, drawing nearer to God and seeking His wisdom in all we do.
