I saw a person kneeling on the ground about to be crushed by a large object, yet Jesus appeared beside them, preventing the object from coming close to the person. I feel that God is reminding us that He is always with us, and in times of trouble and pressure we can turn to Him for help.
I heard God saying, “Beloved, I know that you feel under pressure from the world. I know the struggles that you face and I know the difficulties that you have to endure. But know this – that I am with you in the midst of the troubles. When you feel that you are all alone, I am at your side, I am the one who will never leave you nor forsake you. I will always be with you; and I will strengthen you and encourage you and carry you through it. I will not let the troubles overwhelm you. Continue to find your strength in Me, for I am the Rock on which you will find stability. Do not be overcome by fear, for I am the one who is able to still the seas and the storms. I give peace which surpasses all knowledge and in Me you can find rest. Do not focus on the waves and the storms that threaten to overcome you, but turn your gaze and fix it on Me, for I will carry you and I will uphold you. Continue pursuing Me, and the things of this world grow dim. Even in the times of struggle, when you feel that there is no solution, know that I am with you in those moments. I am there to comfort you and to encourage you and to help you. So turn to Me and allow Me to reveal Myself to you more and more. For in every moment I desire to show Myself to you and to journey with you every step of the way.”
I was reminded of Philippians 4:7 – And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].
Psalm 46:1-3 – God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
Let us turn our eyes upon Jesus, knowing that He is an ever-present help in trouble, for He is with us in every situation.
