I saw an image of a cross and a person was holding onto it tightly. I feel that God is saying that we should cling to Him in times of trouble and difficulty, for He is our Comforter and Saviour.
I heard God saying, “My child, when the world around you is shaking, cling to the cross. For I am always there to protect you and to uphold you. I am the Alpha and the Omega. I am the Rock on which you will find safety and steadiness. So run into My embrace and allow Me to comfort you. Do not look at the storms around you, but focus your eyes on Me. For I am the Almighty God who will protect My children. Even the waves and the wind obey Me. I desire you to come to Me in the midst of trouble, to turn to Me, for I will comfort you and I will give you peace. I am the God who saves, and I will not let you be overcome by the storms. Keep your focus on Me and I will strengthen you to endure.”
Psalm 63:8 – My soul [my life, my very self] clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.
Matthew 8:27 – The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”
Let us cling to God, allowing Him to comfort us. He will comfort us and uphold us, through the storms of life.
