I saw an image of a bird and my attention was drawn to its long legs. I feel that God is saying that, in the same way that the long legs allow the bird to wade through water with ease, so God equips us to pass through difficult times by His strength.
I heard God saying, “My child, do you not see that I have equipped you for every struggle and every difficulty that lies before you. I know the plans that I have for you, and I have equipped you for them. I am preparing you in these moments of difficulty for those moments of Glory. Continue to push on and to persevere. Endure the fiery trials and come out like gold refined by the fire. Take courage, for I will see you through, for you are a child of God. I will strengthen you in order to rise above the struggle, for you are not of this world but of the heavenly places. So, come and sit in the heavenly places, rising above the struggles you face and enter My presence. “
I was reminded of Jeremiah 29:11 – “ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” and John 16:33 – “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Let us focus on God, drawing near to Him, for He has equipped us and strengthened us to pass through the difficult times. Let us fix our eyes on Him, knowing that He has overcome the world.
