I heard God saying, “My child, I am the author and perfecter of your faith. Draw near to Me and allow Me to strengthen your faith in Me. Allow Me to build you up and to give you more faith in Me. For though you do not see, I am with you. At every moment I am right beside you, strengthening you and upholding you with my righteous right hand. Do not fear when the storms come, for I will be with you. I will never forsake you nor leave you. So draw into my presence and seek My face. Allow Me to strengthen your faith in Me. Do not allow the world or the doubts to come in and to filter through your mind, dimming your faith, but allow Me to clear you mind of worldly things, so that you may focus on the kingdom of God. In that, your faith will be strengthened.”
I was reminded of Hebrews 12:1-2 – “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us, [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].”
Isaiah 41:10 – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Let us focus our eyes on God, allowing Him to strengthen our faith in Him, so that we can rely fully on Him, knowing that He will uphold and help us in every situation.
