I saw an image of an eagle and then I saw an image of a duck. I feel that God is saying that He has created us to be like eagles (living according to the Spirit with freedom and power), however we allow other people to define us as ducks, who feel inadequate of the calling that God has placed on our lives.
I heard God saying, “My child, do not allow other people to define who you are, for I alone can define who I have made you to be. So, come to Me and allow Me to show you who I have created you to be. Do not let the opinions of others draw you away from that, but pursue Me and pursue the more that I have in store for you. For I have not created you to be like the people of this world, but I have created you for so much more. I have created you to soar on the wings of My Spirit and to fly high. So keep your eyes fixed on Me and do not allow this world to deceive you about who you truly are. For I have made you and I have formed you in your mother’s womb, for a purpose and a plan. So, continue to pursue Me and to pursue the plan that I have in store for you. For you are fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Psalm 139:13-14 – For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Ephesians 4:1 – As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
Let us fix our eyes upon God, trusting in His calling which is upon our lives. Let us soar high as eagles, seeking a deeper relationship with God.
