I saw an image of a playground slide. I feel that God is calling us to a be a joy-filled people. I feel that He desires us to rediscover the childlike joy of pursuing Him and spending time in His presence.
I felt God saying, “Beloved I desire to restore your joy. To bring you back to a place of childlike faith hope and joy. I desire to bring you back to that place of joyful play in My presence. I want you to eagerly desire the time spent in My presence, to find the joy that is in it. I desire to laugh with you, to play with you and to have fun with you. Come to Me like a child comes to their father, running into My embrace with joy. Do not let the weight of the world weigh down on you but come to Me freely and with joy. Let My joy nestle deep in your heart, becoming a spring that wells up and pours out to people around you, so that you will become a light of joy in this world.”
I was reminded of John 15:4, 11- “4Remain in Me, and I [will remain] in you. 11I have told you these things so that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy may be made full and complete and overflowing.”
Let us ask God to reignite the joy in our hearts, for as we eagerly pursue Him and spend time in His presence, this joy overflows into the lives of those around us.
