I saw an image of a person in a kayak. I feel that God is saying that we should not try to move forward in our own direction and in our own strength, but rather we should allow God to direct us in the way which we should go. When we do this, we are able to float with the current of His Spirit. Just as the kayak moves forward much easier when it is flowing with the current, so we move forward with ease when we allow the current of the Spirit to guide us and to carry us.
I felt God saying, “Allow the current of My Spirit to guide you. Rely on Me and I will carry you. Do not be resistant to the move of My Spirit. Allow it to transform you and to transport you. Become sensitive to My Spirit and let Me direct you in the way which you should go.”
I was reminded of Isaiah 30:21 – Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” and Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Let us fully rely on God, listening to His guidance and becoming more sensitive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Let us submit ourselves to God allowing Him to lead us in the path He has planned for us.
