As I was praying, I saw an image of a lightbulb, shining brightly. I feel that God is calling us to shine His light within us brightly.
I felt God saying, “I have placed you here as a light, to shine forth My glorious light through you. For I am calling you into a deeper relationship with Me, where you may soak in My vibrant light. For as My light shines upon you, you reflect that light into the world, revealing Me to others around you. So, continue to pursue Me and to sit with Me in the quiet moments, allowing My presence to surround you. As you go out, I desire you to shine out My truth in a way that does not dim it or hold back. For this is a time for truth and for My spirit to come forth. For I will shine My light into the darkness, bringing forth hope and freedom in people’s lives. I desire you to share this hope that I have placed within you with others, for I desire to reveal Myself to many people in this time.”
1 Peter 3:15 – But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear
Matthew 5:14-16 – You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Let us spend time with God, drawing closer to Him, and let us go out, revealing the light that He has placed within us. For this light will restore hope into people’s lives, as they encounter God.
