As I was praying, I saw an image of a pencil being used to sketch. My attention was drawn to the tip of the pencil, which was very sharp.
I heard God saying, “Know that at this time that I am calling My people to be sharpened in My word, to go forth wielding that sword of truth, wielding My word. For know that as you do, that I will use you to write something new in this time, that I will use you to change the storyline of how things and situations have been going in your life. For know that as you bring forth My words of truth, that they will raise up a standard against the enemy and that you will speak forth that life and that truth into your life, that your life and the lives of those around you will be shaped by My Kingdom promises. For know that I am calling you at this time to delve deeper into My word, to let the word nestle deep into your heart, so that when you speak, that My words will flow through you, shaping the spaces that you inhabit and shaping the things in your life, so that they will be in accordance with My word. For know My people, that I am coming to bring forth something new in your life, that I am opening up a blank page for you to write in the things of My Kingdom into your lives. For as you speak My word, know that My biblical truth comes into being in the places that you live and that it comes into being in your life and in situations. For know that by My word you can conquer.”
Hebrews 4:12 – For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Psalm 119:11 – Your word I have treasured and stored in my heart, that I may not sin against You.
Let us seek to sharpen ourselves through God’s Word, walking in accordance to His will, and believing in the promises that He has spoken.
