As I was praying, I saw an image of a baobab. It was full-grown, with green leaves. I feel that God is saying that we should continue to pursue Him and to grow our roots deeper into His firm foundation.
I heard God saying, “Beloved, I desire you to become strong and firm in your faith. Build up for yourself a strong rootedness in My firm foundation. For a time of shaking is coming when every person will be tested and their foundation will also be tested. If you are firmly rooted in Me, you will withstand the test and you will come out as gold purified by the fire. So continue to pursue Me and continue to let your roots sink deeper into My firm foundation. Become strong and steady, founded in My light. Find your nourishment in Me and you will grow like a tree that is planted by a stream. Do not distance yourself from Me, for I am the source of your life-giving water. Stay firmly rooted in Me and you will persevere through the shakings and the tribulations that are coming.”
I was reminded of Isaiah 33:6 – “He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure.”
Let us continue to pursue God, growing in our faith and establishing ourselves upon His firm foundation, that we may stand firm in all shaking and trouble.
