As I was praying, I saw an image of a fish on a plate. I was reminded of the feeding of the five thousand in the Bible, where the boy gave his five loaves of bread and two fish, and Jesus multiplied it to feed the multitude. I feel that God is saying that we should surrender all that we have to Him, for He can use it mightily, just as He used the loaves and fish mightily.
I heard God saying, “Come to Me and lay yourself down before Me. Allow Me to use you, for when you surrender yourself to Me, I am able to use you mightily. Come before Me with a humble and willing heart, and I will raise you up and I will bring you into a place of abundance. When you are surrendered before Me, I can use you in ways that you have never thought or imagined, and I will use you for the glory of My Kingdom. Do not feel unable to be used by Me, but know that with a willing heart, I am able to use you.”
Matthew 14:16-21 – Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” “We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered. “Bring them here to me,” he said. And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.
Ephesians 3:20 – Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us,
Let us surrender all that we have before God, for in that place of willingness, He is able to use us mightily.
