I saw an image of a cactus. I feel that God is saying that He will sustain us and provide for us, even in the desert.
I heard God saying, “My child, I am the source of life in the desert. Draw near to Me and allow My living water to flow in your veins. Even when your surrounding seem barren and dry, know that I am the one who will sustain you. Come into My presence and ask for manna from heaven and water from the rock, for I will provide for your needs. I am a loving father and I will not let you grow dry and barren with your surroundings. Continue to come to Me, being nourished and refreshed in My presence, for I will sustain you. I will carry you and I will see you through it. I will make springs in the desert and I will bring life from a barren place, for you are My children whom I love dearly. You will continue to flourish even amidst the dryness for I am your source of life.
I was reminded of Isaiah 43:19-21 – Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The wild beasts will honor me, the jackals and the ostriches, for I give water in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my chosen people, the people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise.
Let us make our needs known to God, knowing that He will provide for us. He can bring new life from any situation, regardless of how dry or impossible we may perceive it as being.
