I saw an image of a hummingbird drinking nectar from a flower. I feel that God is inviting us to drink of the sweet nectar that He offers us, as we enter His presence.
I heard God saying, “Come and drink of the sweet nectar that I am offering you. Come into My presence and partake of this sweet substance and allow it to enter your body’s and to take root within your heart. Let the sweet words that I have spoken to you become rooted in your heart. Let it flow like honey from the rock as you go about your daily life, sharing this goodness and sweetness with others. Continually come into My presence, for I desire to give you this sweet substance. Allow it to nourish you, to encourage you, to build you up and to prepare you for sharing that with those around you.”
I was reminded of Psalm 81:16 – “But you would be fed with the finest of wheat; with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.” and Psalm 119:103 – “How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!”
Let us draw near to God, allowing His sweet words to enter our hearts, taking root, so that we can share it with those around us.
