I saw an image of a sailboat. I feel that God is saying that we should hoist our sails, so that we can move with the wind of the Spirit.
I heard God saying, “Beloved, allow My wind to guide you. Allow My spirit to blow upon you, directing you and guiding you. For I know of the storms to come and I know the spiritual weather patterns. So, allow My wisdom to guide you and to instruct you in which direction to sail. I am the Almighty God, I know what is to come, so trust in Me, lean into Me and ask for My guidance and My direction. Allow Me to direct you and allow your intimacy with Me to grow. For as you draw closer to Me, I will unfold My plans and My purposes to you, and you will understand more and have a deeper knowledge of things that are not of this world. So, put up your sail, and allow it to grasp the wind and be ready to follow the movement of My spirit. For as the wind of the spirit blows, your boat will move in the right direction. You will hear My instructions and My words, urging you on, and instructing you and teaching you in the way to go. Even when the path I have chosen seems contrary to your thinking, trust in Me and allow Me to take the reigns. For My thoughts are not your thoughts and My ways are not your ways. So I desire you to fully trust Me and to trust My direction, and in that place of dependance, I will draw nearer to you and you will have a closer relationship with Me. For this will strengthen our relationship and you will draw nearer to Me. So trust in Me and trust in My guidance.”
Isaiah 55:8-9 – “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Let us yield to the movement of the Spirit, allowing God to direct us and to guide us. For as we follow His instructions, we will move into the fullness of His purposes and plans for our lives.
